Next, we walked into Central Park, actually more people than park! There must have been thousands of people in there for a wide variety of different purposes.
After a good 40 minute walk we came to the American Museum of Natural History. You could spend a month in there and not see everything!
We went to the Soitzer Hall of Human Origins. They had the most amazing dioramas of full sized humanoids that looked as thought they had been caught in a frozen moment of time looking at something in the distance. You felt that if you gave a cough they would suddenly turn and look at you.
At peak hour 5:30 we bravely decided to hail one of the yellow taxis, to get back to Grand Central Station. On the way Mary-Ann decided that she wanted to spend some US money so we stopped to buy a newspaper from a news man. We completely confused him because we had trouble finding just a dollar!
