It was a relief to get on the plane and know that we had managed the transit process, luggage and all, without too many issues. The cabin was huge compared with the 737, and I think that every seat was filled!
We travelled at about 11,000m and at about 1,000kmh!! It was also going to be a 12,000km journey so it was going to take 12 hours - reminds me of David Bowie's song Space Odyssey, "sitting in a tin can".
