On Saturday we drove off to Dunbar and "Aytonlea" North Road where my half brother and his wife Margaret live with Kenneth their son.

While we had an introductory chat we were served a pre lunch sherry. We had a very nice lunch of smoked salmon salad with all the settings. I had to try and remember what knife was to be used for what!
As we sat there a butterfly flew in to the room and fluttered around us and then flew out. Margaret said that she had never seen such a thing before! Personally, it seemed like Dad had paid us a visit!
After lunch we had a stroll round the garden

and then went for a walk down to "the gate" which turned out to be a gate in the wall that led to the cliffs and an amazing view out to the Bass Rock.

At about 6:00pm we made our way home!
