We then had to go and find out about my case which still had'nt arrived. The agent said that when it arrived they would courier it out to Ian's house in Congers and give us $100 US in compensation!
It took longer than I expected to drive out to Ian and Kristy's place at 16 Viking Lane. It is a beautiful suburb, more like living in a park rather than a town; the neighbours don't mark their boundaries with fences and walls, the lawns all just merge into each other. Ian had to have their roof replaced - asphalt shingles - looks nice. Quite a lot of houses have that style.
It was great to see James and Julia again. Once we had found our room upstairs we sat down to have a cool beer and a chat - it is very warm here, and humid - 33 degrees during the day!
Later we had a barbecue dinner out on the little side-deck and while we there here James said, There's a firefly" - here is a video, watch for the little bright sparks:-
